A Bright Spark!
Congratulations to Matt Brown (pictured) who joined Venture Caravans 20 years ago at the tender age of just 14. City and Guilds qualified Matt has recently gained his NCC approved status after completing the “Extra Low Voltage” course. Matt now qualifies as an NCC approved workshop engineer, making him qualified in all areas of servicing and maintenance in caravans.

One of our tips in the December newsletter, was to ensure you drain down taps and pipes before winter, to avoid any damage to your caravan or motorhome in the event of a hard frost. Planning your 2012 trip
Now is the time to start planning your 2012 trip, so here are a few points to get you in the mood, and help you decide on where to holiday this year:

• Buy a cheap plastic folder and start filling it with touring ideas perhaps magazine articles of appealing places, reviews of caravan sites, tourist leaflets, things you see on the television or hear on the radio. Take a note and start planning.
  
  
• Whilst most Caravan Club and Camping and Caravanning Club sites welcome non-members, some are open to members only, so check and consider looking at memberships for access to particularly special places.
  
  
• Use your caravan to its full potential by exploring parts of the country you've never been to before. 'Google maps' is a great way to explore new areas online to help you decide.
