We were happy to hand over the keys to a brand new Bailey Endeavour B62 campervan this week to Bruce and Denise Blackmore, a couple that have been customers of Venture Caravans & Motorhomes for an impressive 33 years!
Since 1991, Bruce and Denise have bought all kinds of vehicles from us at Venture. The majority of these have been caravans. However, we think they’ve probably lost count of just how many of these they’ve had over the years!
What we can tell them is they were up to at least 13 caravans a decade ago and there have been quite a few more since!
After upgrading from a tent and purchasing their first caravan, an Abbey Durham, 33 years ago, they moved over to the Bailey brand and have never looked back. Their first Bailey caravan was a Bailey Hunter Lite and since then they’ve had various others including Pamplonas, Rangers, Pageants, Senators and Unicorns. We think it’s fair to say they like Baileys!
Because of the Blackmore’s loyalty to the Bailey brand, it’s great to see them in the Endeavour – Bailey’s first ever campervan. They’ve already had a taste of campervan life with one of our own conversions, the Venture Discovery, a model we previously offered. However, they were looking for something a little bigger. After owning this for a few years, they were once again tempted by Bailey and used this in part exchange for the Endeavour.
The Blackmores will be using the Endeavour alongside their current Bailey Unicorn IV Cabrera caravan for extended camping holidays with their family. With its on-board washroom, blown air heating system and fully equipped kitchen, they will also be using the Endeavour independently for trips away.
Bruce and Denise are some of Venture’s most loyal customers. Since they bought their first caravan from Mark (who is of course still here) 33 years ago, Bruce and Denise have become regulars at our Daventry branch. For the past 26 years, they have mainly dealt with Dave Webb. In this time and through their dealings with both Mark and Dave, they’ve gone beyond customers and have become much-loved friends of the business.
