Designed for all kinds of environments

Looking for a short, but all-in motorhome? Then the Roadcamp R will be just right for you.

Built using a Peugeot Boxer base vehicle, this is an agile city van that is designed for everything from remote European countryside touring to negotiating busy urban environments.

Easy to park and store

Measuring 5.41 metres in length, and 2.05 metres in width, you will have no trouble parking the Roadcamp R motorhome in tight spaces. It won’t look out of place on your driveway at home and it won’t require specialist storage.

Filled with comfortable features

Whilst the compact exterior dimensions of this motorhome lend themselves well to parking and storage of the motorhome, they don’t impede on its ability to provide relaxed travel at the highest level. Offering the greatest comfort in its class, the interior of this Peugeot Boxer has been put to great use and gives you a lounge, bathroom, kitchen and fixed double bed.

Comfortable living area

To the Roadcamp R’s lounge, you will find a comfortable living area with a spacious dinette seating area with legroom for up to four people. Giving you a comfortable place to eat, relax and watch the world go by, this area makes clever use of the vehicle’s travelling seats. To provide you with this seating area, the comfortable chenille fabric upholstered captain seats swivel to face the bench seat, and the easy move table offers a stable dining table surface. When it’s time to hit the road, the table will simply move to the ‘in-travel’ position and allow the seats to return to their travelling configuration.

Within the living area, you will also find storage lockers hidden at floor level and providing a convenient and clutter-free way to carry your essentials.

Comfy sleeping space and plenty of storage

For a great night’s sleep, this motorhome offers a large fixed double bed to the rear, with additional shelving underneath and overhead lockers providing plenty of storage space. Whilst the option for another bed provides a third sleeping space.

Very clever space saving bathroom facilities

Providing convenience at the campsite, the Roadcamp R motorhome has an on-board bathroom complete with a centre shower point. Offering a clever design, the shower’s drain down and shower tray can be covered over during the day with a bespoke fitting floor that turns this into a normal walkway to ensure no space is wasted.

Behind the motorhome’s shower door, you will find a cassette toilet and a dropdown sink. With further clever design, the mixer tap for the sink also doubles as the shower head, meaning there aren’t multiple water outlets serving the same purpose and wasting space. When in shower mode, the shower head attaches to an overhead bracket and the concertina doors come around to form a spacious, enclosed shower cubicle.

Fully equipped kitchen

For campsite cooking, the kitchen features a combined two burner hob and kitchen sink unit, plus a fridge with a freezer compartment. Built into the end of the kitchen cupboards, the fridge allows easy access from the inside and the outside of the vehicle.

Further convenient and cleverly designed features come in the form of power latching doors to prevent them from slamming, an electric entrance step, and a large garage space with lashing points.

Offering illumination throughout the vehicle, Roadcamp R motorhome has a number of moveable spotlights. These simply allow you to remove and replace them along the rail system for handy lighting across the vehicle.

Elsewhere, you will find a TV bracket ready for a TV to be attached, mains power sockets and USB points, window blinds and flyscreens, plus plenty of storage space

Making it suitable for four-season use and for venturing into the coldest temperatures, the motorhome is equipped with Truma Combi 4 heating.

About the base vehicle

The base vehicle utilised for this Globecar/PÖSSL 2024 Roadcamp R Manual motorhome is a 165bhp Peugeot Boxer with a 2.0L diesel engine and a manual gearbox.

To the vehicle, you will find four belted seats, barn doors to the rear, and alloy wheels. Comfort and convenience in the vehicle comes courtesy of features including cruise control, cab air conditioning, and steering wheel stereo controls.
