Generally classed as a small or compact caravan, two berth touring caravans usually range from 4.7m to 6.5m in length. Typically, two berth caravans are around 2m in width. However, in the case of micro caravans, these can be smaller.

Whilst all two berth caravans will be designed to sleep two people, you will find that they range in size. This all comes down to a number of factors which includes the size of the living area, the storage areas in the caravan, and the facilities that the caravan offers.

For instance, if you’re looking at two berth micro caravans, you will find that their smaller size comes at the expense of features found in larger caravans. This could mean that the kitchen facilities in these caravans could be as simple as a sink and a hob, and the washroom may only contain a toilet and a hand basin. 

If, however, you’re looking at slightly larger two berth caravans, you will find these still have sleeping space for two people but they are equipped with comfortable features including spacious living areas, kitchens with a hob, oven, grill, fridge freezer and sink, and bathrooms with a separate shower cubicle, a cassette toilet, vanity unit, and hand basin.
